Concert attire: Plaid Boyfriend Hooded shirt and Pink Neon Top

All Personal Style
This year I had to choose between going on a vacation or screaming my guts out on a Rammstein concert. It was a tough choice, but my butt needs baking, it’s already the color of cheese.
Thanks to my wonderful sis and her boyfriend, though, who gave me 2 tickets for the concert, I was able to scream my eyeballs out AND bake my ass to a crispy golden tan. Hooray for selfless family gestures!
Here’s what I wore!
Concerts require comfort over skanky (it makes peeing and moving a drunken arse around, easier) so a neon top combined with my tartan boyfriend hooded shirt (if it gets colder) and sneakers were the best choice.

  1. what's that reddish thingy/ribbon peeking out of your collar? is it this annoying thing they attach to pretty much every piece of clothing to hang it or something? if yes then I just cut millions of those off my clothes because they drive me insane! πŸ˜€ anyway, I actually really like your pink top, especially the back of it and how it slightly reveals your denim shorts. nice combo!

  2. Hahaha, I really hate those too, can't wait to get it home and cut it πŸ˜€
This is a little "bow", it's part of the necklace πŸ™‚ It does look a lot like the things you are referring too, have to google what they're called πŸ˜€

    1. haha, I totally thought it looked kind of strange to be that ribbon thingy but I also didn't have anything else in mind then. now it makes sense because if I remember correctly I have seen that necklace before! πŸ˜€

  3. Once again, I was drinking coffee while reading your blog post and I spit it out all over the keyboard. "Baking your ass". hehehe. I never learn.

Anywho, that top is adorable and I totally agree about being comfortable over revealing. I don't go to many concerts but a friend of mine does and she and her boyfriend always dress comfortable to they can dance and scream with happiness. She tells me about chicks in five-inch heels and miniskirts who can't even move, they just stand there and look miserable. Seems not worth it to me. πŸ˜›

  4. Guwahaha that's awesome about being able to go to that concert!! Free concert tickets are always a win, as is a tanned bootay-tay. I got some free tickets to a concert with my friend at the beginning of the summer and it was so great. HOPE YER CONCERT WAS RAD!! Because you look so rad. I loove that plaid against the hot pink. Seriously that is perfect. Perfect!!

  5. Neon pink and plaid is definitely not a combination I would have considered – but on you, it totally works! Perfect concert outfit πŸ™‚

  6. Ahhh, yes I used to dress way too complicated for concerts and wear uncomfortable shoes. Sneakers are definitely a better choice! This is great concert attire, you look cool and comfy at the same time, and I love your necklace. Such a pretty piece!

  7. Duuuude, Rammstein? that had to of been an amazing concert, I die over their music. (Even thought I understand exactly four words most of the time but still amazing.) I think I might have to die over your bag a little bit as well, its burgundy! and we all know burgundy is like the best color ever. Ditto on the comfy over skanky for concert wear, flat shoes and easy movement. (I went to an Arosmith concert years ago up here and fights broke out in the first five mins, but there were some reallly drunk people there. Still was a good concert though.) You look perfect for going out, the long shirt over the short is surprisingly sexy with the see through back!

  8. I found you through Lookbook and I'm so glad because I love, love, love the way you write and dress(hopefully that doesn't come off too creepy). Your shirts are sick!! Hope the concert was great! I have some great memories as a kid of my cousin accosting me with Rammstein songs while I wept for unicorns and other PG rated things.

  9. Ahh, you layering master, you. I want that boyfriend hoodie. The colour is gorgeous. Also, holy shit, I totally forgot about Rammstein. I used to listen to them in high school. I think I have to go hit up YouTube now.
