Glossy boots make me produce more saliva than usual…

All Personal Style
While we were taking these photos, there was a lady perched on her balcony, staring at us angrily through the whole time, while slowly smoking a cigarette. Creepy!
Still don’t know what’s so freakin interesting about people being photographed.
Fashiony part: I know this is a combination, many would find appalling, but as my girl crush from “Clothesencounters” says: “If you feel comfortable and amazing in it, who’s place is it to tell you that you can’t wear that”. Amen! You really should check out her Youtube channel, she’s the Goddess of Style, no exaggeration.

So yeah, a girly floral dress with a chunky glossy boots finish, may not be the cup of tea for everyone, but who the hell drinks tee when there’s beer around?

  1. I've always thought that the combination of sweet and tough was so interesting and showed a lot of confidence. It shows that you like pretty dresses, but you also like to be comfortable and cool. Plus I think black was such a great color to pair with this pastel dress. Something like brown would have been too expected and the black just takes it up a notch.
And I HATE it when people stare while you're taking photos! It makes no sense to me why they would be interested in that, haha.

  2. hahaha, I love your creepy people stories. You seem to encounter so many creeps! That is the downside to dressing so rad all the time, sigh. But seriously, people staring is the worst thing of all. I was taking some pictures of myself today and people will slow down in their cars and liKE WHY GO AWAY

I have always loooooved cutesy + edgy looks. Like this. Ain't nothing better than being able to express both sides of the fashion-y spectrum! Those boots are seriously shiny and I know what you mean by drooling over them… Shiny shoes are amaaaazing… just like shiny lipgloss and shiny nails, muwaha.

  3. those shiny boots made me drool too! Honestly between killer heels and boots, I'd much rather pick boots. They're equally eye-catching, but boots are way more comfortable and makes more sense.

I don't get it why people have to stare too long on someone taking pictures. I think it's acceptable if they give you a second look, that is almost expected. But long stares coupled with a disapproving look is just them being judgmental. Annoying.

I follow clothesencounter too! I love how she styles her creepers. I'm definitely going to get one of those once I see them in stores.

  4. Haha, that often happens that people stare when you take pics πŸ˜€ Yeap, what's the thrill indeed? You could be tourists? I get the creep-eye especially if I use a tripod. Next time someone stares with the creep face I will take a pic of her / him πŸ˜€

I like the boots and they work well with your dress :))

  5. Haha, she probably thought you were a celebrity and was wondering if she knew you from anywhere ^_^
You look super rad, that dress is so so great!!!

  6. This is darling <3 I love the colors in the dress, but the stars for me are the oversized clutch and those kick ass boots! You rocked this!

As for grumpy olds, I've had my share of creepy stares from people. It's hard to be natural when you have people ogling you. Haha. That's the hazard of photoshoots outdoors it seems. πŸ˜› Maybe she was just looking at you and longing for her youth or something. Heh.

  7. You make boots look so damn good I must say. I like the way you style this dress. Feminine yet so chic! =)

P.S. Babe, if you have some time, come over to participate in my blog's giveaway. You might get lucky πŸ˜‰

  8. I think you might just be head-to-toe glossy and stylish, but I do love the boots – my black Dr Martens give the same sort of effect – and the dress!
