Retro Floral Dress & Biker Boots

All Personal Style
I think  my family is damaged and I’ll explain why. I finally bought myself a bike! Well, the boyfriend bought it, but since his money are mine and my money are mine, is all good! Haha, just kidding! *feminists around the world simultaneously exhale an outraged breath*
So don’t worry guys, no more public transport for this hot piece of cheese! Photos with the bike will be coming soon, I just need to find a hipster enough dress and a baguette to place in the front basket. Maybe I can put the cat in it!

Any who, I was so thrilled I got that bike, I decided to call the parents to brag. Just when I was explaining to mom how happy I was, she just straight out interrupted me in the middle of my ecstatic blabber and told me: “You know who died? Insertnameofpersonwhodied, died!”… And I was like…: “What am I supposed to do with this information?!” and then I just weirdly replied “Ooookeeyy???” and hang up. True story!

Fashiony Part!
Aaaanyway, you may remember this vintage piece from my July Favorites postI kept the styling here pretty casual. I wanted to avoid the too girly outfit, so I wore my signature biker boots. The mirror glasses are immensely practical even when I’m not wearing them, they add flavor to any dull outfit! For a polished finish I paired everything with mah thrifted clutch! You likey?
I think I may have gone overboard with all those clocks. I just realized I’m wearing two clocks here and both aren’t showing the correct time…

  1. Please promise me you will lock up that bike securely, bike theft is something that is hard to take!
I love this look, it is so cute, that dress with those boots is to die for, so could I please have them both? Thanks πŸ™‚

  2. Hahaha, Ahh, man. My parents do the same thing. Half the time, I'm not even sure they're listening to me when I'm talking to them. Anyway, that's awesome that you got a bike! Dude, when I finally got a bike, I felt so liberated. I could blaze by all the usual skeezers and the most they'd be able to do is open their mouths to say something, but by the time I had gone by it was too late. Yep. Deal with it, suckers! :DDD Plus, I always hated having to wait for the bus or train or whatever. I love the freedom of being able to come and go whenever I want and be able to take the shortest route to get somewhere without being stuck in traffic. So, congrats! <3

You look fantastic in that dress, by the way! Also, every time you wear those shoes, I die a little inside of envy, so you should wear them sparingly…. ;D

  3. I do likey! I always love those boots and I agree that the mirrored glasses add that je ne sais quois! I LOVE the clocks and I noticed the one around your neck right away and thought oh cool I like that!

That's really cool about your bike, and I hope you enjoy freedom from public transit. If your mum does that kind of thing all the time it sounds like she just has poor social skills. My ex mother in law was like that and I stopped telling her anything because she was never listening. If the person who died is someone your mum knows well or his close to her age it might be something that really upset her and that's why she was so focused on it. Or maybe your family is just damaged. πŸ˜‰

Aren't we all in some way?

  4. Bahaha, what a fashion bloggery thing for you to do – two pieces meant to show time, but don't, because who uses them for anything other than a pretty accessory!?
Also, sooo excited about this bike you got recently. I've been on the same hunt for a while now, and I'm afraid I won't find mine before winter hits – and then it'll be useless -_- But I'm trying! Can't wait to see the photos you're planning. Haha, I'd love to see the cat in it xD
On a sartorial note: GIVE ME YOUR SHOEEESSSS! *_*

  7. Gasp! I don't know how I missed this one, but this outfit is my new favorite of yours. I really enjoy how the boots pick up the colors in your dress-and I want everything I own to be in that print, it is so pretty! Bikes are really exciting too. I got one a couple of summers ago and I love it. I don't ride it as often as I should because of where we live, but yay bikes and baskets!
